Well people name their boats and sometimes their cars, is anybody sad enough to give their tent a name? or is it just me ::)
-
May I be the first one to say: "it's just you" >;-)
....go on, tell us...what's it called?
-
What have you named your tent then?
-
well i was only thinking about it ;D but i do have 8 tents now so will have to get my thinking cap on
-
Do you use the same one all the time? and do the other tents ever get jealous because of this?? ;D
-
My favourite one is "Poppy" the red popup tent (Lichfield Yana), i use it for car camping when i know i'll be arriving in the dark.

Then there's "Rocky", a Gelert Rocky 2, only cost me £8 and i've done 5 summits in it

Others without names yet are the Vaude Taurus II (got it as i wanted something a bit lighter and sturdier for summmit camps)

Old faithful, my first tent (about 24 years old)

Another Gelert bargain (£10) for a tornado 4 (for when I want to hide in the trees)

and a couple of others i've never actually used but they were bargains i couldn't resist ::)

I have one tent that is Stan, because it's a Stan Evans canvas frame tent bought by my folks in 1974. Then I have Iccy, who is the Vango Icarus. We call the large quechua pop up The Egg because that's a pretty good description of it, and the Vango Dart 'The Coffin' because when you're trying to sleep in it, it's very claustrophobic.
