when he stopped for a rest on one occasion he clipped onto the footrest with nothing but a nut on the end to stop it sliding off  :o , although to be fair, there was nothing else to clip onto   ;D  those guys should have a steel wire running up the tower which they can be attached to permanently

still want their job though  ::)

Great clip but the narrator was a bit drab... I'd like to see them make a feature of this on Top Gear and send Clarkson up.  Now that would be worth the licence fee alone  ;D

If you type 'climbing towers' into U toob it's the first result that comes up.  I've watched this about 5 times, it is mesmorising.

found an old pic of me doing similar silly things, fully clipped on though  ;)

i did actually stand on top of the tower but no one got a photo  >:(
