Hi all,
Have been on the site a few times and decided to sign up as there seems to be a real cameraderie. Just got back into hill walking again in the last year or so after a few years just running. Really only starting to appreciate the Mournes for the resource it is. Was down with my brother last Saturday doing the Bearnagh to Carn peaks leaving Doan to the last. Nice evening on top but the legs were glad to get back to Meelmore and the tent. The campsite was a bit of a disaster zone the next morning mind you. Lots of 'gazebos' disappeared in the gales.

Welcome :)
Bearnagh to Carn peaks leaving Doan
You mean: Bearnagh -> Meelmore -> Meelbeg -> Loughshannagh -> Carn -> Doan? If so that was quite a walk. I guestimate it at 10miles with 900m climb...

Welcome
That does sound like a trek. I did Binnian -> Lamagan -> Cove -> Beg -> Donard -> Carrick Little and it nearly killed me - I wasn't right for about a week ;)
