At Wild-live, we believe these ancient skills of our ancestors are everyones birthright. Wild-Live’s vision is to help ensure that this knowledge remains alive for future generations. Course participants take home something special, an understanding of how they could connect better with the world around them, and integrate these ancient techniques with their daily lives
Established in 2001, Wild-live teaches not only the most important skills, which allow you to survive in most environments in the world but also how to see and experience nature with new eyes, allowing you to connect with nature and history in ways that can be integrated into daily live. Further courses push wilderness living beyond the comforts of modern tools and materials, and are applied to particular environments. Our courses run all year round. (Check our new calendar for details.)
Courses offered range from primitive skills courses and evening courses to children's summer-camps with the National Trust and year-long multi-course Memberships.
All these courses and events can be found on our courses page.
Wild-Live’s courses are open to everyone and participants come from all walks of life. All that is needed is enthusiasm and an interest in deepening your relationship with nature. Experience varies from those taking the first leap of getting out there, to put theory into practice, to those already with experience in bushcraft, primitive technology or tracking wishing to fine tune them or wanting to learn advanced skills.
