Title: Evernew Titanium Trivet Stove
Post by: suspectmonkey on June 13, 2010
I was talking to Jonno about this lil' bit of kit yesterday.  Looks interesting!  I'm not sure why the boil times on the titanium burner is only 4 mins when the boil time on the Trangia burner is 11 mins.  Presumably the holes in the titanium burner are better placed to work efficiently at such a close distance between burner and pot.  As far as I know the Trangia burner works best with gap between it and the pot, as in the Trangia 25/27 sets.  Even still, I think 11 mins sounds fairly normal for a Trangia although 300ml is probably a bit less volume than normally measured.

Would the stand sit on a standard tranny?

Would the stand sit on a standard tranny?

Apparently so

The obvious question? Does the Trivet work in the same way with the Trangia Meths Burner?

Yes it does the same job with the domestic version.
