What is a sit on top?

That's what I googled as well after I read this :) Clickity click (http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=sit%20on%20top&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi)

ps. it's interesting they call it an 'awareness course'...it's not like you can get run over by one by not looking twice while crossing the road......or catch one by kissing a dirty (insert name of opposite sex).

pps. here a link to their web site (http://www.cani.org.uk/?module=datalistdetail&itemid=5d552644-9b69-4a30-acd2-00bcd3b23112) with forms all all.

no, but you can get blown out to sea or washed onto the rocks, wreak havoc among surfers, or stray into shipping lanes.

Pity you have to provide your own boat.

you have to provide your own boat
Ahh...that makes more sense...it's a kinda own boat training for folks who have already got a sit-on for the kids (or big kids). Good idea.
