Just registered, found the site whilst looking for a GPS track of the Mourne Wall walk. Thinking of running it very soon as a bit of training for a race in the Alps later in the summer.
Interests are adventure racing, fell racing, mountainbiking and spending plenty of time in the hills in my trusty Mudclaws!
I'm also part of the 26 Extreme team who organise the Mourne Way Marathon, The Kilbroney Challenge Adventure Race, The Coast to Coast Race across Ireland, The Causeway Coast Marathon and many more interesting events in the north and south of Ireland.
Great site with lots of fantastic information on it.
Hopefully I'll ge the chance to say hello to many of you on the hill at some atage in the future.

Hi Mac - Jon Patterson here. Good to see you've registered! How are the races going this year?
I've been toying with the idea of doing the 10K or Half at the Causeway Coast Marathon. After a year spent watching races I thought it was maybe time I gave one a try :D

Jon, how's things? Still taking photos? We are looking for a finish line photographer for the Mourne Way Marathon to get everyone who crosses the line. I'll drop you an email. For 10k events I think the Causeway is the best - nowhere will you get a 10k like it anywhere in the UK or Ireland.
Did you get rid of that tarp?

I haven't really had any events to do this year with CCAR being on a bit of a break until later in the year. Sleepmonsters contacted me about doing a few events but to be honest I've just been up to my eyes recently! Might be able to help out with the MWM though so feel free to drop me an e-mail.
I figured if I was going to give a 10k a shot the Causeway would be the best place to do it. Stunning location, and everyone who crossed the finish line last year were just raving about the event!
Tarp is gone I'm afraid!

Hi Mac, welcome to the forum.
I'll see you at the MWM, and if my body is still in one piece after it I'll probably give the Causeway marathon a crack too!
