Title: backpackinglight.co.uk
Post by: Matthew on May 06, 2010
Evening, I thought I would take a moment to reccomend backpackinglight.co.uk I ordered items last Wed (28th April) and by Thursday they had arrived. I ordered titanium pegs, line loks and 15m of 2mm Dyneema cord, all of which are fantastic quality.

On top of the fantastic postage speed I recieved a phone call earlier to ensure that I had recieved the items. What great service.... ooh almost forgot, included in the pakage were two packets of skittles and a free DVD :P, not much, but they could have just sent the items.

Yep. A great company to deal with.

I too got the Skittles and the DVD.

Would deal with them again in an instant.

I also got free Skittles. And Rose called me personally to see if I was happy with my order. Top service!

Agreed.  I tend to order from them as often as possible as their service is top notch.  They also make some really innovative products of their own, and tend to stock products that are perfect for lightweight backpacking rather than just selling the latest high street fad.  Big thumbs up from me :)

I was really surprised that they phoned to check, suppose companies like this rely on the word or mouth to an extent. I do not even mind paying that bit more if I know that company is reputable.

Yup - great site, great service - another happy customer.

One of my items was delayed, and I got sent some awesome insulating foil stuff to make a pot cosy from.

I'm gasping to buy a honey stove but I just can't justify it.

I bought some of that stuff, but haven't had a chance to get all Blue Peter yet and cut it to suit my pot :D

Did you get round to seeing my thread about The Hive upgrade kit (http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1068.0)?  And now you can add this handy contraption into the bargain!  BBQ Trout any one?
