My DD Tarp arrived today so decided to put it up in the garden, I found it dead easy to make a shelter from in and defo loads of room to sleep under. Think I might get a few more pegs for it though.
I also then put up the Hike Lite Pro and rolled out my Sleeping Mat and bag. First time I have had this up. Really pleased with it and the room inside.
I am heading out on the beer tonight so think I might just sleep in there when I get home ;D

Agreed, I dumped the wire jobbies (they are not even shepard crook style) and replaced them with yellow plastic ones, much better in stony ground. Got a pack of 8 pegs (peter storm cheapies from Millets) but that wasn't enough for my (paranoid) first bivvy. Also unless you have aready get a peg puller as well (or just bend one of the wire pegs in a vice to save a couple of ££s), when you sink a peg with your boot, your fingers 'aint never getting it back out again without help.

You better be careful if you have problems staying on your feet when sober ..............I think you should take your kit with you for a wait outside A & E. ;D

Well ..... tell all, did you ! or was it just a fanciful thought to test your kit ;)

Sure did! Came home had a kebab and slept in the tent! Let's just say it was bit aromatic this morning. Sleep mat was very comfortable but my neck was sore even though I had a wee travel pillow.
Next door neighbour thinks Lesley has kicked me out!
