Backpackinglight.co.uk have posted up some new titanium goodies including the Evernew Ultralight Titanium Alcohol Stove (http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/product493.asp) and the Ultralight Titanium DX Stand (http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/product494.asp) that can be paired up with it or used as a wood burner.
It's nice to see companies continuing to work away on innovating with alcohol burners, and that titanium isnt just the preserve of gas users :)

Titanium is the 9th most abundant element in the earths crust so why the hell is it so expensive!
Don't think I'd pay for the burner but a Ti wood burning stove that would also take a Trangia burner would tempt me.

The DX system is interesting to me, as it would basically make my Honey Stove redundant. The Honey Stove still has the advantage of being able to use a far bigger range of burners, but I tend to only use it with a Trangia meths burner or wood anyway. And the DX costs the same as a Honey Stove which makes it even more interesting. Wonder if BPL will team up with Evernew to make a titanium Honey Stove - now that would be cool!
Doubt would be paying for the titanium burner either, I think you can buy the Trangia ones for around £9. I can cope with the extra grams. The titanium one does look pretty cool though :)

honey stove is cracking wee bit of kit, i love it, think half the reason being putting it together like a wee camping jigsaw, bitch to keep clean though
