Looks pretty good and lighter than the pro action

I could still do with a solo tent, but haven't got round to getting one yet. Delivery time is 2-4 weeks though, hope someone didnt go and buy them all like the Pro Actions :D
-
I noticed they were 2-4 weeks which usually means they're waiting for stock and there's no guarantee of them ever receiving any. I ordered one anyway. They review well and you can't go wrong at £22.

I had one of these and gave it away....but for one simple reason only.
The entrance zipper and my sleeping bag zipper were on opposite sides from each other, making it a bit awkward for me to easily do the zips up.
If both zips had been on the same side and it was easier to get in and out of then I would still be using it......it's a cracker wee tent.
I use the Pro-Active Lite now and it's a wee bit easier to use. Also bear in mind that the Gelert tent has no working area in which to do any cooking or storage.

From the pic it looks like you could just unpeg the inner when your inside, and pull it back a bit for cooking? I may be wrong tho.

Lol do you not already own like 5 tents!?

3 usable tents and one crap one. A Banshee 300 for camping with the boy, Hike Lite Pro for solo and Vango Teepee for car camping. I also got a cheap Argos teepee but it's pants.

Yeah, you could do that, but I prefer not to. Prefer to have the tent up, pitched, and a cuppa tea on the go....Then relax...... ::)

This is now £20.69 and in stock.

The Gelert still in the packaging 1,705, the Hike Lite is 2,051 but well used so 346g lighter.
Might pitch it later and see how it looks.
I've attached a pic of them both packed but obviously I've had the Hike Lite out a few times so it's not really a fair comparison.
-
I assume once you break the Gelert down and re-pack minus poles and pegs in the original sack it will be a lot more compact. (you could use either the hike lite compression sack or even a small pod sac)

Nice, taken straight after the 2nd penalty too just rub it in any spurs fans faces!
-
I was unamused :-[
