mourne mountain 2 day marathon

was hoping to do the mourne mountain 2 day marathon this year on the 20 and 21 september.  problem is i dont have someone to do it with, so i am looking for someone who would like to do it with me, i have hiked a god bit in the mournes, i have done the mourne sevens a few times and the mourne wall, the mourne sevens took me 7 hrs 29 mins  to do  this year, looking for a good hiker who would enjoy the 2 day hike and a night camping. let me know if any of yous are interested or if your also looking for a hiking partner for the challenge.

Would love to have done this but in fairness I just wouldn't have the fitness to put in the any sort of challenge but good luck

I'm going to have to stop reading these MMM posts since I can't do it this year. After last years induction by fire I have chomping at it since January for this year only to have to pull out over a silly injury. Hope you get a partner for it, try Clairebear on here she may still be looking for one, I can only sit seething out "NEXT YEAR" from clenched teeth.

Has been my goal for years to do the MMM but alas, I'm miles from the level of fitness I'd need.

Rather than waiting to get fit before entering, why not enter an event, then you have a target to get fit for  ;) (although less than 2 weeks is leaving it a bit late  :) )
