Hi all,thnx for letting me join,I have an interest in all things out doors. I have fished, shot,foraged and gathered around the country from I was knee high to a daisy(with my dad) I have wild camped all around the world and have tried most outdoor pursuits. I am now in the autum of my life and currently enjoy fly fishing for trout and salmon all over Ireland. I also enjoy walking and I would wild wild camp anywhere.My next outing is tomorrow 22nd sept16. I will be fishing sea trout in an estuary from early morning and when the tide drops as I walk back I will gather cockles, yum.I look forward to chatting to you all and perhaps meeting some of you like minded people. All the best.

Welcome. I tried fly fishing a few times. I was awful at it. The second time I caught my own cap with my own fly on casting I hung up my wellies and started buying my fish in Tesco  8)
