what a day the snow really made it feel more epic and the coachroad was as cool as ever............can't wait for the pics 8)

here's some pics from sunday, the rest are on the flickr page.
















The scramble was excellent, the combination of snow and cold rock made it pretty much impossible to tell if you were on a hold or not although even if you were holding on to rock there was no gaurantee that it wouldn't crumble when you put your weight on it, I had a few close calls on the way up but this all just added to the excitment! Once at the top it was pretty much business as usual, the snow on the higher ground made going tough and there were a few times when we were in up to our waists!
That said it was a cracking wee day in the hills and it felt good to get one of the mournes "landmarks" under my belt, Bring on the Ben!

Do that then, You head up the path and we'll meet you at the summit, We have to go pack down the path anyway. Its the perfect opportunity with us all spliting the cost and everything.

I would do the tourist trail, but not the Crazy Horse route you guys are taking.
