Hi everyone, this is my first post so I'd like to say thanks for adding me as a member
What I'd love to know are good places to walk and wildcamp, it seems we are very limited as to where we can camp, so far I have been to donard wood and an along forest and also lough shennagh but I really can't see anywhere else to go (it all seems to be much around the same place) , does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. The group tends to use Donard wood and Annalong wood for our bigger group events but there are lots of great camping spots within the Mournes. There are several sheltered spots along the Glen river, annalong river, at the end of Ben Crom reservoir. If you like it a bit more wild, try the summit of Commedagh or Hares gap.
Just a few obvious ideas.

It tends to depend on whether you want to be in a forest or not. There are loads of spots in the Mournes if you don't want tree cover but if it must be wooded then it's a bit more limited to Donard Wood or Annalong Wood.

Brilliant thanks for the replys, il definitely be trying those places out, I suppose for cold wet weather it would need to have tree cover but I'm hoping of heading away from the trees during summer
