Post by: Glenn B on May 15, 2014
Found this wee website http://www.backonthemap.org.uk a great interactive map of all wooded areas in NI.  Check out the birds eye view facility  :o :o
A few new wild camp locations for me I thinks!!!!!

That's a fantastic site, there's more little woods than i had previously thought and the birds eye view really gets up-close. That's been bookmarked, cheers.  ;D

This is really interesting. Is it just public woodland or all woods?

It shows all woodland areas the majority of which aren't open to the public but sure when did that come in the way of fun. If you pick out a large enough section of woodland surly a crafty camper could slip in on the quiet ;)
