Anyone want to be my friend? My other friends find drinking, sitting in the house better craic than spending time in the outdoors!
I'm an amateur photographer based outside of Derry ~ Londonderry and when I get the chance I go wild camping (weather permitting - girlfriend doesn't like the rain...)
Hopefully heading away wild camping this weekend in Donegal somewhere, have 3 locations to choose from :)
I'm heading away to Mallorca 1st of June for 10 days and planning on hiking up Puig de Massanella with the possibility of maybe doing a wild camp, and I'm also heading Iceland end of July for a weeks worth of wild camping.
As you can see, I'm a fan of camping and the outdoors in general but I don't do it nearly enough because of not having friends who like the same things!
Who wants to be my friend? :D

Surprisingly common that people get a yearning for the outdoors while everyone else seems to want to lie on the sofa and watch TV ;D Good on you!
It's getting to that time of year where more should be happening, the sun's coming out and it's getting warmer :) Keep an eye, I'm sure there'll be goings on soon!
Iceland sounds like a hoot, how come you're able to go there for wild camping?

I blame the photography for wanting to see the world, not a bad complaint to have, just extremely annoying I've got no one else to share it with apart from my very reluctant girlfriend ha!
Iceland is possible because I won't have my daughter with me. When I've got her at the weekends, it's hard to get away due to her having a few disabilities, but now that she's older and illnesses are few and far and between and after Iceland we're going to head on our first camp (car camping).
