Great to get the wee kayak wet again. Myself and two friends had a nice 2hr offshore splashing session yesterday it was class the sea was like a mirror and we were joined by a few seals as well. A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. :D

No Baskies mate don't think they go down as far as Ballywalter.

One of my best days out on the water ever was out in a 14ft dory on Carlingford Lough, spotted 2 of them and cut the motor and drifted by them, amazing creatures. Seals are good fun too though, especially if you have mackerel to throw at them.

Always great when seas like glass. Seals are not so friendly this time off year there in pup season june / july as i found out last year did'nt think i could paddle so fast ;D

Yeah we just keep well away from the rocks and let them come over for a wee nose if they want!! ;)

Small 9ft sit ons great for messin about in small surf at the beach and in and around rocks and reefs when the tides well out ;D
