This is what i got from Ian

"Hi there,

We are looking for people to help with a number of different areas from water stations to assistance with registration and finish line logistics. If your available to help we can allocate you to an area that appeals to you. We will be rewarding marshals with some OMM back packs or waist packs as a thank you. We also are looking for people who can drive a van and take responsibility for setting up water stations and running them for the day. We need people from about 8am – 8pm however there is flexibility with this.

We ask that all helpers are self sufficient for the day, but we do look after everyone at the beer tent later with a few on us as well. Our events have a great atmosphere and we guarantee you will have a good time.

If you’re interested in any of the above and we can look at allocating you. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Look forward to hearing from you,

Ian Cumming

Director"

silly question maybe but are the water/feeding posts near roads, or do you end up carrying food/water for 300 people 10 miles into the mournes? lol

Feeding posts all have tables etc. and loads of water so all road accessible.

I'm about to submit my location preference  for marshalling at this event.  Where is everybody else from NI Wild going?  I'd like to team up with somebody from the forum.

Thanks.

I'm tempted to go for Leitrim Lodge as I imagine it'll be the first station to be closed after the participants pass through, though I'm hoping to be with some other members.

It's the longest... Marathon and everyone comes from Newcastle end, it's the last one.
Us ultra people will also pass through it around 7am.

Newcastle, Trassey, Spelga, Hen track, Leitrim lodge...

Oops, glad you pointed that out!  Maybe just rethink that.
