Nice! I love walking up there as I live in Belfast but I always head down to the Mourns for camping.
Looks cracker though. Nice video. I must do it sometime.

Thanks guys, Cavehill's a great spot if you don't have much time to spare and camping out over the city is a different experience. Watching the lights and the constant motion is mesmerising. Funnily enough, we saw fireworks at three separate locations on Saturday night.

Did you see many other people?

There was a couple of folks who stopped to say hello, an older chap with a walking stick who chatted with us for 20 mins and a dad and son out for a stroll, but from about 7pm onwards we were on our own. It was a quiet night all round. Also, you can camp just over the ridge towards Collinward and you'll draw much less attention but the views aren't as good.

Where abouts were you pitched, up near Napoleons Nose?

That is an excellent spot, I've been there loads and the views really are excellent. I'd generally be too timid to overnight somewhere like that because I'd be wary of the number of people that are about. I'll have to just man up  8)

Great movie - the sky is amazing and the night view of Belfast is WOW. We were there yesterday, but just for a walk and there wasn't many people as well. I guess because it was during the week.
