Was up divis yesterday evening, aside from the masts there are cracking views, taken on my I phone as I was only out a dander with cash.  Good to see lots of people out walking even though its only a stones throw from the city.

There was a ferry heading out of the lough.

My view at the minute, two guys just thought I was the 7/7 check in, they went home over an hour ago, felt for them.

Hi Claire. Would I have seen you today around 1.30 on the path around the bottom of Meelbeg? We were just coming up from the dam to tackle Meelbeg as someone walking a dog like yours went past and I said hello but only realised that it might be you later on.

Achill Island, A walkers paradise! Croaghaun and Slievemore are two fabulous mountains and there are a myriad of other hills to keep you happy!

Somewhere near Larne
8) Indeed, it's Islandmagee across Larne Lough.  I think the big step bit you see on the silhouette of the land behind the lights is Knockdhu - at the start of the Sallagh Braes.

That's a nice spot Paulocon - if I went there it would rain and be zero visibility  ;D

Class photos Phil, you must have been up early as there's not a footprint to be seen. It just looks so peaceful.

That would have been a great way to start your day mate.

Yea, I was the first person on Donard and Comedagh, wasn't exactly peaceful though with high winds and driving rain and sleet. I left the carpark just before 7 and was on top of Donard for 8.15 as it was getting light.

Im probably going to do something similar next sat or Sunday as I need some ascents in my legs before having a go at mount Teide in tenerife at the end of the month so everyone welcome again. I do like an early start though ;D. I also have over 1st to shift since doing almost no walking since my son was born in september. :(

Found myself with my brother heading up the Ott track at 7am this morning. Over Slieve Loughshannagh, Meelbeg, Meelmore and Bernagh and back via the Mourne Way. Few pics:
