Me and the big Paddyman have entered the MMM this year again, moving up to the b class (yikes) so should be good craic. Hope to see some NI wilders again, here's hoping for another cracking weather weekend too.

Still trying to talk my wife in doing D class :)

Looks like it may well be a warm one this year.

I'll not be competing this year after all but you may see me about the hills ;)

Aw Liam I'll miss your craic. Could you not get a partner?

A dry camp is a happy camp

Well packing ready almost done, just gotta sort the food out. Currently sitting around the 9.3kg mark without the food, so estimating it at around 10.8kg total which hopefully will be all good. Could well be lower though once myself and team mate split some things between us, probably no sense dragging along two sets of cooking gear etc.

A little nervous about these shoes though, was a delay on them and they only arrived this week instead of 3 weeks ago. Had them out on a gentle couple of miles but still have that nasty stiff out of the box feel so far. If you hear something that sounds like an old woman stuck in the back of a post office queue in the hills it will just be me with a blister.
Will get a quick snap up later of the food setup, just waiting at the moment for bars to set and the demon gel to cool.

Looking good rich. I'm on 6.5kg including water. Got tent gas stove pegs to split. Reminds me got to get a pencil. (http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/18/667531d85f41e379cfc37f56c8369d20.jpg)

Another super event, it is my favorite by far. Challenged and day two messed up our co-ords missing 2clues around butter mountain. Big step up in B with the map reading and choice of route. Great to do but next year I'm gonna have to sharpen up my map appreciation. Big Padddyman again was a machine and it's a good learning curve. We will be back. We clocked near 17 miles with about 1500m climbing day one and 13.5 day two with I think near 1000m climbing. Some teams fly! Quick with the map and good route choices.

Well done folks the weather at the weekend was very kind to you all. Mrs B and I were in the hills on Saturday, Trassey to Commedagh and back along the brandy pad, we were hoping to see some of the competitors but you were obviously all hiding lol
