The iPLOD is the ultimate team walking challenge. Teams of 4-7 (includes a driver with car) start the 50km PLOD at midnight on 19th June, walking for a maximum of 16 hours to finish back at Tollymore Forest Car Park. Dinner, bed and breakfast at the Burrendale Hotel all included (on the basis of two sharing) plus the prize giving and a little bit of live music to keep you awake through dinner!
The PLOD is in aid of Action Medical Research.
Teams of 4, £200 registration & £600 minimum sponsorship. Teams of 5, £250 registration & £750 minimum sponsorship. Teams of 6, £300 registration and £900 minimum sponsorship. This is a really friendly event with lots of on the day support.
