Anyone been up it or know what the routes like?

There is some useful info on mountainviews.

There was a bit of a landslide a while ago that has affected the main route upwards, one of the comments refers though to it being passable. Kittykat armstrong on this site seems to have a fair bit of experience around those parts.

3 routes up it that I know of. First is from the main Cuilcagh car park to the north, opposite Marble Arch caves. You walk up a gravel track and then boardwalk up, but I know that there was a land slip at the end of the boardwalk, so not sure what the state of the path is now. The second track is I think part of the Ulster Way, you go up from the east side. If you look at an OS map there should be a car park to the east near Trein (spelling). You walk across the bog to the base of Cuilcagh and the final ascent is the same as the first route. The third route is to go up from the Cavan side. I think this is supposed to be the easiest ascent and won't have been effected by the land slip. I don't know the details of this route. There's lots of waymarked ways in this part of Fermanagh which can be used to lengthen the walk up Cuilcagh. Enjoy.
