Just take the caravan up to Hares Gap!

Just arrived in Tollymore and set up caravan where wife will stay tonight with friends. It's wild weather, heavy rain and strong winds.  I wish I'd brought my wet suit!

George (surfnscenic!) Redleader knows the craic!! Myself and Mathew should be there arount half 6 at the latest.... see yas soon lads!  ;)

See you guys all have a good time...and be safe up there high tonight.

Forecast here is showing things getting better  with wind dropping and rain clearing a touch - but more rain tomorrow.

Just finished my tea...and think I might go find a Jamesons to start the weekend with   ::)

It went really well. Weather was actually pretty awesome. Some light rain over night but other than that, low winds and sunshine on the walk back down.

The event went really well. No real problems, the marshalling went without a hitch. As usual, it's hard staying up all night.

Well done everyone, job well done!

Yup, was a good one, glad we all to have a good time (or put on a brave face at least).

The organisation was a _little_ less 'seat of your pants' compared to last year. Comms guys were much more prepared (even though their radios failed yet again.....and our comms guy got vertigo going up the side of Donard with me and had to stop and sit down a load of times  ???)

My thanks to Fergy and Big E for doing all the hard marshalling paperwork on our checkpoint work while I sat by the fire for most time and Scribble cooked steak and onions (hmm..that smell: should be a law against it  ;D)

Hi Liam, shame we didn't see you... And we didn't get the first teams through hares gap till about 2.40 so I'd imagine ylou were snoring away at that point!!

Next year I reckon we make a point of meeting up either before or after... there were too many people I didn't get to meet it was so rushed!!

It was good to see the Hares Gap Crew as i passed through. Come 11:45 the rain and a really bad bog of a campsite (long story) I wished I had just stayed with them LoL.

Where did you camp?
