No need for official first aid. Only thing we'd like is for people to have been out with us at least once before the event.

Don't think will be able to make this :(  I'm heading off on my hols that weekend so will hopefully be doing a bit of packing the day of the iPlod!  Pity as I missed it last year as well, guess will have to be iPlod 2012 for me ;)

Just whatever kit you need for a night in the hills. You can bring whatever gear you feel suitable but it must contain the basics for safety and you'd need to be able to carry it the length of the Brandy Pad (although that depends on where you are marshalling on the route).

This event isn't far away and Action Medical Research want to do a short morning training session on Saturday 21st May at 1030 in the Burrendale. I'll throw a post up later, this is just a heads up.

Hi, I had previously said I was interested in doing this too.  Unfortunately I've a bit too much on with doing the 4 peaks the weekend before the Iplod and being out for a practice walk with all the 4 peak's team the weekend they are doing the training.
