Im not surprised you can't find a bad review at that price mate. I understand you wanna a quality bit off kit but for that sort off money you could really kit yourself out(stove/pans/sleepmat/sleeping bag)

have you tried these guys I have only good things to say about there service. And You'll be able to get a top quailty bag for half the price.

Bag arrived this morning and it was dispatched yesturday.

Got the bag outta the stuff sack and thought it looked a bit thin but after a quick shake it really lofted to almost 3 times the size.

Also supplied a large storage sack, mini stuff sack & compression sack.

all in all I'm well chuffed and cant wait to get it out on the hills.

As I said only good things to say about alpkit and would highly recommened them.

frig me mate! at that price i'd expect a spanish midget to carry it round the hills with me! if your lookin for sound advice i'd follow what 666pack said. You've said its your 1st bag, and you have no idea about camping, i would buy a cheaper bag and spend the rest of the dosh on other kit. Your only goin round the coast of ireland, its really not trekking into the arctic circle!

I had the Alpkit Pipedream 600 out for its first proper cold weather test at the weekend and it wasn't bad. I was only wearing a light baselayer top and underwear and was fine apart from my feet were a bit cold (but I should have worn socks). It wasn't that cold - maybe 4 degrees but I was only under a tarp and there was a chilly wind.

I'm another Pipedream fan, except I've got the PD400.  Great bag, small pack size and nice and light.
