Some of the guys on here know a lot about tents,my knowledge is limited,i had a look at the Halfords light weight tent & i'm sure it would be ok for low-land camping,ie campsite's but would be worried that high winds would sail this wee ridge style tent across the valleys, again i could be wrong, what about a Gilert solo, lenny found them on for around £26.00 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gelert-Solo-One-Man-Tent/dp/B00322QRQE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327708573&sr=8-1,really depends if you just want a summers night camping or something for all seasons

it doesn't look like much but for £15 you could buy one as spares  ;D  personally i'd splash out an extra tenner for the gelert eiger 2 they have http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_769003_langId_-1_categoryId_236907#tab2 at 2.8kg its not exactly heavy and much more comfy, but it all depends on what you want to do with it?

their 2 man popup at £20 is great value http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_786515_langId_-1_categoryId_236907 but the website says its only 1.8kg  :o  , but i doubt that  ::)

1st- the tent is only a single skin, therefore 1 layer against the elements outside.  (I perfer double layered)
2nd- its not fire retardant so therefore if you accidently drop a lit match in the tent, not saying you would but accidents do happen, it might go up in flames.
3rd- its only 1500mm waterproof again ain't the best waterproof, it would do in dry or light rain conditions, but if your hit by heavy rain then your going to get soaked specially when u have a single skin. (must have at least 2000mm in my opinion).

I also have heard that those tents with that same shape tent to blow away easy with high wind.
So I wouldn't advise you to take this tent up in the mournes.

I bought a coleman cobra tent from amazon, which is 2.05kg on the description but it actually weights 1.8kg. and has 4000mm waterproof and is fire retardant, its double layered and also pitched fly first, so if you pitch in a rainly day your inside will be dry. £63 but well worth it. you get what you pay for these days.

well over ur price range probley.

I heard the Gelert Solo One Man Tent is pretty good though even known its a 1500mm waterproof, its only 1.5kg. £28.99
