Everyone appears to be having a Spring clean at the moment, thought I might as well join in :)

Just selling a couple of bits of kit that I've ended up replacing and have become a bit redundant.  Nothing wrong with them, they are very good bits of kit, just I've not been able to resist offers on shinier pieces of kit here and there ;)

Alpkit MytiMug - £19 SOLD

Excellent titanium mug/pot, made by the same company who supplies Tibetan Titanium etc.  Has a 750ml capacity, so big enough to boil water for a dehydrated meal or enjoy a manly mug of tea.  Weighs in at a feathery 110g and comes with a neat lid with strainer holes and a mesh stuff sack.  Works beautifully perched on top of a Pocket Rocket stove or similar and is big enough to hold a 100g gas cart.  Perfect for uber light excursions.  As new condition, I only bought it a few months ago and it's literally been boiled once on top of the Whitebox Stove and once on top of a Pocket Rocket.

Whitebox Solo Stove - £14

Another uber light piece of kit, this little meths stove is a cracker.  It only weighs 30g and acts as your burner and pot support all in one!  The pot sits directly on top of the burner, which has holes in the side that give off a fierce heat.  Comes supplied with a heat reflective pad to protect the ground beneath it and a lightweight, flexible windshield.  Despite being made from recycled aluminium bottles it is extremely durable and won't crush like normal Coke can stoves.  Just a quick note to say that I have used the Whitebox Stove with the Alpkit MytiMug, but truth be told the MytiMug is just a shade too narrow and as such isn't as efficient as using a slightly wider pot.  It still boils perfectly well, and makes an extremely light setup, but for maximum efficiency the Whitebox works best with pots similar width to the MSR Titan Kettle or Primus Trek Kettle.  I've only used this stove a couple of times so it is in excellent condition, the only signs of use are a little bit of soot inside the fuel well.

Karrimor X Lite 3/4 Self-Inflating Mattress - £22 SOLD

This is a superb lightweight self-inflating sleeping mattress, and to be honest it's probably one of the best bargains I've picked up.  The RRP is £70, but you can usually pick them up for £30 in Sports Direct from time to time.  Whilst this may seem more expensive than, for example, the Alpkit self inflating mattresses, the Karrimor mattress is considerably smaller and lighter.  It weighs only 325g (!) and packs up to a tiny size, saving a lot of space and weight in your rucksack.  That's a similar weight to many of the skimpy closed cell foam mattresses you can buy, but an awful lot more comfortable!  The tapered shape means it will fit easily inside a bivvy bag such as the Alpkit Hunka or Rab Storm.  Excellent condition, less than a year old and has been well looked after.  Comes with a stuff sack.

Inov-8 Roclite 295 - UK Size 10 - £45 ONO SOLD

Just added these trail running shoes to the For Sale list.  They are a UK size 10 and I bought them at the start of the year, so they are only a few months old and I'm pretty sure I still have the receipt knocking around.  I could literally count on my hands the amount of times I've used them.  They've been really well looked after so are nice and clean with no marks or damage to either the sole or the fabric.  There is barely even any noticeable wear on the sole itself.  Unfortunately I am having to sell them as they are just too small for my feet!  I paid £80 for these shoes, and they still sell new for around this price so this is a good chance to bag a bargain if you are considering making the switch to trail shoes.  You can see the full specs of the shoes on the Inov-8 website, and I also did a brief write up on them not long after I bought them.

If you are interested in any items and would like to make an offer please drop me a PM.  Items can either be collected from me, or for a couple of quid I can post them to you.  Alternatively I can do my best to try and meet up at a mutually suitable place somewhere in the Co. Down/Belfast area.

I'd argue if I didn't own a set of titan eating irons that I've never used as they taste like poo!

I'll be honest, I bought one of those titanium long handled spoons (a "Lhoon"!) and have been munching dehydrated meals off it.  No taste whatsoever.  I'm starting to wonder if someone has sabotaged your eating irons ;)
