Looking for some kind of bushcraft knife or survival knife.
-
Get a frosts Mora. Only a tenner and a great knife. Next step up would be a Pukko for about £40.00. After that, probably something like a falkniven F1 for about £100.00, up from that again is a custom knife from about £250.00 plus. All will do a job for you. All will cut stuff (including you) and it is VERY unlikely that you will break one.

I have been offered a few Mora starter knives for £8.00 each if anyone is interested
-
hi andy,
hear you had a wet on at the weekend. You have inspired me to give a two day solo a go. Do You mind holding on to one of those moras for me till we see each other.
-
The knives are coming to me at the end of the week , have been told they are model no 640, complete with sheaths.
I have seen them on the net a bit cheaper but then you have to add delivery.
I don't think they are a big gamble and from a lot of reports probably one of the best starters to buy.
-
If I am correct, the 640 is the one with the solid plastic handle and a deep finger guard, with a carbon steel blade. For £8.00 they are a great knife. You won't be disappointed.
-
Yep thats them
The only thing that is questionable is the colour of the handle ::) its Red I believe
-
Maybe theres a way to dye it ? Keep one for me billy, let me know when they come. Cheers mate
-
red is cool with me wont have to worry about the blood stains :o

Dont think it matters what colour the handles are as long as it cuts what you want it to cut.
I have one of these knives and I know you wont be disappointed no matter what colour the handle is.

Hi folks, I hope this will be of help,
I retail and wholesale 1000,s of knifes here in Northern Ireland. It is done in an unorthodox way, but it works I have lots of satisfied repeat customers.
I aim to come close to US prices, and generally do , I am often the cheapest in Britain and Ireland.
This is how it works , I ask customers to check the list of Brands stocked on my web site ...or on this post for your convenience!! ;)
www.armysurplusireland.co.uk
Find a knife from one of the brands listed on a USA knife retailers website send ME the details ,pics , a link or product code etc, I will then get a quote to you , unless its really expensive I dont ask for a deposit , you check out the knife, and if it is what you asked for its payment on collection. If you really decide you dont want it; well I can sell it to someone else on my weekend markets.
I always carry a selection of knives etc on my stall , to be found at Jonesboro Market on Sundays or Clogher on Saturdays. Feel free to call down for a chat about requirements, or, see a very small selection of the available stock etc.
There are also contact details on the website or email me at ... info@armysurplusireland.co.uk
This is a selection of the knife / cutlery brands etc I have in stock.
Any requests for pricing or particular items please contact me.
As always, wholesale orders are welcome.
