Just bumping to see if anyone else is interested.

I got a little more definitive information.  Gear hire is actually £3.50, which includes - shoes, harness and belay.  I'm pretty sure that you can hire this gear individually as well.

Is there any one going from NI-Wild with previous climbing experience?

I have none.  Apart from twice at Todd's Leap and their climbing wall, and I can assure you, whatever I learned that day, I have forgotten.   ;D

I'm no expert, but I do climb every week, so im confident enough i'll not drop anyone  ;D
Has anybody have a time in mind yet? lunch time'ish would be good for me, but i'll go with the flow.
I started to make the raspberry ruffles for Sunday ... that should keep everyones sugar levels up :D
do try to eat a few banana before you go, they reduce latic acid and stops your hands from getting so sweaty, i'll take my chalk bag with me anyway :)

£5 entry I believe.  Shouldn't come to any more than £10 in total.  Could always ring to double check my calculations I suppose.

You're right £5 entry or £3.50 if your MI member... does anyone fancy a wee drink after? Maghera Inn? Maginns?

Whatever time really.  I'm currently about 10 minutes up the road, so could be there anytime.  Though it's sounding like noon time for everyone is sounding best, so I'll come along at that time too.

AnnieAnne, I'll drop my number into your inbox in case you arrive, and haven't a clue who I am.

Also, to everyone, is it possible if I bring my girlfriend along, as she wants to have a crack at it too?

The more the merrier Pudd!  :) I would advise to hire the equipment, the rock shoes will give you a better grip than gutties

I'm pretty sure I'll do that to be honest.   :)

Was watching videos on how to Belay last night.  So at least have some foundation to work on.
