Hi Greyfox.
Sorry if my post seemed a bit out of focus ref : £5 per person, I was thinking of Liams post about bringing scouts along, more along the lines of a group discount for parties, boy/girl scouts groups etc, I myself would pay the £5 just to feather a stick and another £5 to light it lol.

The value of what you are giving is by far worth more than a £5 note, apologies to all concerned if my post sounded like I was a miserable old git  :-[

Must be quite close to the cut-off number by now then?  Is anyone going to give the Introduction to Geocaching a go the day before, or are y'all hardened 'cachers now? :)

I am involved in the Introduction To Geocaching on the Saturday  ;D

We are 'releasing' a number of new caches in the park on the day; I've been charged with hiding a few in the back wood. If you have interest in geocaching you should pop along. It is basically an explanation of what geocaching is, how to do it and then getting out around the park and find them :) There will be a chance to see various types of GPS and meet some on the names you see on all these caches.

We are also having an Event Geocache after the Introduction To Geocaching. This is just a get together of cachers; you sign a logbook and it counts towards your cache count :) Sometimes they have giveaways and freebies for the kids.

[A muggle is geocaching term for a non-geocacher. e.g. 'Be careful as there are a lot of muggles in the area :)']

I really need to get the finger out and get booked onto the Bushcraft day  :o
