Hello
« on: December 27, 2014 »

Hello Tony here, I'm based in Belfast, have done a bit of hill walking in the Mournes and elsewhere but nothing too serious.
Love the outdoors and would like to do an overnight wild camp in the Mournes so any advice would be welcome as to what tent, sleeping bag, rucksack, etc would be recommended for one person.
I've several tents e.g. 2 person, family tents etc and various sleeping bags but none would be suitable for wild camping.
I have a couple of motorcycles and have done quite a bit of touring around Europe and further afield.

Hope to get involved in contributing to the forums and reading all your posts.

Cheers Tony.

Welcome Tony, you'd be surprised at what you can get any with! many on the forum use a £5 tesco sleeping bag, just depends of how warm you sleep and how big your hot water bottle is  ;D
