We were all talking about getting some NI Wild Merchandise.
I really would like to get a Buff and a Cloth Badge.
I have made contact for both but if there is not enough interest then there is no point.
Please vote above and if we get enough numbers then we can talk about the design.
Intrested so far:

Can you put your name down as well if you answer Yes.
Cheers

Surely
-
Yes to the badge, no to the buff
-
I'd go for a Buff, but the design would need to be breathtakingly awesome ;) Any graphic designers in our midst?
-
aye sure why not..
-
A yes from me.
Hope no offence caused, but would it be worth changing the title of the thread to something like "Merchandise poll, please vote"? I thought I was going to read a thread about the history of buffs. I'm a very boring person, that's why I clicked on it ;)
-
Yes, I would like a buff in pink lol

Awk Lenny... please....
-
both. buff in green for me please. Is there a Design for the Badge??
-
Hey Big E, not sur about colour yet or design. I just want to get as many people as possibe to commit them we will look at that.
We have 11 people for the buff so far and we need at least 25. Please ask anyone who has not confirmed if they are interested.
-
Can a link to the thread go out on the next forum news?
-
Would take one or two cloth badges but no money or need for a buff at present (have 2 already, 3 hats and a balaclava).
Started to draw up a categorized 'dream gear' list the other day, starting with clothing, to make sure I don't spend where I don't need it.... which may have happened too often before ::)
Sorry, that's how I roll: but I would encourage anyone without a buff & a spare buff to take advantage of this as they are awesome!

so do you want 1 or 2 cloth badges?
-
i'd certainly take a few patchs, ive got 3 rucksacks, a few coats, 9 tents (or is it 10 now ??? ) but i'll take 5 for now (assuming they only 2 or 3 each pound each)
I can get car stickers done, will cost about £1 each, i can do a bulk order of about 30 for now.

Badge only for me. I had a design from the last time we had thought about doing this. I'll be home in half an hour and if I can find it I'll post it here.

I'd go for both. 3rd buff now! It was one of the most useful things I had with me in Peru!!!
-
I would really like a badge please !
And a car sticker for me taxi !!
-
I suppose the thing to add here is that forum members shouldn't really feel "I'll not bother since I rarely post" or "haven't met anyone off the forum". I think a wee badge or a buff could be a good wee conversation starter on the hills or waterways of NI and beyond.
-
Hey guys
Got some great responce for the bages which should not be a problem but we only have 12 people intrested in the buff. We need atleast 25 to put a order in. so if you know anyone who will have on then please let me know.
Make that 13 I will take a extra one.
-
What sort of price for buff Lenny, dont really need one but if cheap enough I'll take one and the wee westie can wear it as a coat :-\

The Buff will be around £15-£17 depending on dilivery cost.
-
(http://bestsmileys.com/eek/7.gif) the wee westie dont need a £15 coat ;D I knew there was a reason I didnt order one the first time (http://bestsmileys.com/eek/3.gif)
-
No problem.
-
Hi Lenny
How much are the badges and have you settled on a design?
-
Maybe I should buy 2 and sell one on ebay as its looking like they could be rare collectors items ;D
They're certainly not cheap items but well worth it on a bitterly cold day, that's if you can remember where you left it the last bitterly cold day you used it :P
We could always go sell ourselves out and get a sponsor to cover some costs.
-
Hi Lenny

Dont know depend on how many we order and no but I would like to do the bussiness card design (but that decision is above my pay scale :) )
-
Personally I wouldn't pay anymore for the Buff than they retail for in the shops. I know there is probably an additional cost to having them custom printed, and you probably need to be ordering large quanitities to get the cost down, but seeing I already have 3 I don't think I can justify spending up to £17 for a fourth one, even if it is NI-Wild branded :)

sorry lenny mate to rich for my blood! You can get 3 for 8quid in TK MAXX.
-
Yep, I agree.. Sorry Lenny.. Couldn't justify paying 15-17 squid for a buff when I could buy one in Cotswold or Fleabay in pink for cheaper! I have three already... Soz..
-
in pink
You're as bad as Kat ;) "I don't care if its Gore-tex Pro Shell, if it ain't pink I'm not buying it" ;D
-

Sorry if yopu wanted a NI-Wild buff but the still sell some great designs on there website.
I have just bought 2 Long Way Down buffs that are for charity. :)

See for years we didn't have the choice of buying pink as it was all neutral/black/blue colours in outdoor clothing.. Now it is a pink fest.. and of course us girls will buy.. We want to look pretty up in the hills!
-
Right guys.
I have 20 Badges wanted by everyone here. I will see about price but I need to know the Design. Are we going to go for the Business card design or is there any other ideas?
-
I'm no graphic designer so I'm happy to go with what other folk think is best, if that is the business card logo, fine with me.
I'm guessing these aren't a few pence each, it is a shame that there couldn't be a wee stock with a permanent thread on the forum. Others could then order one as they feel the need. I'm sure a lot of the regulars and long-time members will have ordered this time which makes it more unlikely that there will be sufficient numbers for a future order. Of course i'm not suggesting anyone has spare money to buy a wee stock but perhaps I am wrong.
-
I'll take 2 badges and i'm happy with the Business card logo.
-
thanks flipmeb.
I think the Bussiness card is the best choice.
-
I will take a badge if enough to go round I will take two , I will go for whatever design is picked
Cheers
-
I am still up for the two badges, any ideas on cost yet?
Matthew
-
Right I have a price. If we order 30 they work to be £2.50 each and if we order 50 they are £2 each.
We so far have 26 people interested. So before I order I need final numbers and money up front. I will be at the walk on Monday. If you are not going and know someone who is please give your money to them.
Cheers
-
Lenny I'll take 3 badges if you can get them for £2 each, wont be at the walk but if you pm me your details ie: name and address I'll send you a cheque if thats ok also add what postage would be to County Antrim, I'll send cheque for total amount.
It shouldnt be to hard to get others buying more badges at £2 each ;D
If you cant get 50 takers I'll still buy two and send you a spanking brand new £5.
-
PM me your address and i'll post you the money mate.
-
Lenny, any badges left?
If so I'll get one off you on Monday at Bloody Bridge.
-
Anything left?
