Title: Mid-May Walk on Divis Mountain Belfast (16 May 09)
Post by: eventadmin on April 23, 2009
Join the Belfast Hills Walking Dynamos on Divis Mountain. Divis is just so gorgeous this time of year with lovely mountain flowers in bloom and skylarks and meadow pipits twittering away. Spectacular views across Ulster on a clear day, especially Donegal and the Sperrins. From Tipperary Road which banks off and goes around the base of Divis and then around the back of the mountainside, we'll walk for and hour or so and then on the way back see if we can grab some coffee and have a look around the new Long Barn centre.
Wear good boots and bring warms and waterproofs. The walk should be over at about 1pm so I don't think we need to bring a packed lunch, but that's up individual walkers.
Anyone needing directions to the site, let me know via my email or webiste message centre. This event is free. Click to the website below to RSVP or just turn up at the venue. I'm driving the blue corsa.
