just another new guy

Hey all, I'm Simon, I'm 40 from Limavady, Co Londonderry. Been out of NI for a number of years and just returned during the summer. Started working as a Scout Leader with 1st Roe Valley Scouts. Looking to find others that enjoy a bit of adventure. Main Interests are, Trekking/Hiking, being out in the Woods, anything challenging with an adrenaline kick, Survival/Bushcraft and more.....
Hope to meet some of you face2face at some point soon.

Hi Simon, welcome to Ni Wild.  There are a few others involved with Scouts and other youth organisations.  It'd be interesting to hear some of the things you guys are getting up to.

Yeah I noticed a couple of people mention about scouts so it'd be good to connect with them a some point within this forum and in the scout network too...
As a new guy it'll take a while to get to know some of the people on here and eventually put some faces to the names too.

All members use their actual faces in their photos, for example LandyLiam really does have those freaky teeth and my body is made entirely of green starlite goretex

Hi i'm over NW direction just down the road from you in derry. Would be good to meet up with folks from this way on a semi regular basis just to swap skills etc.

Cool, definately would be good to arrange a meet at some point.
I'm keen to get something going or to join in on something already established to get out and enjoy the big outdoors.
What type of things are you interested in?
if your up for it we should make some type of arrangement and go do something in the near future.... cheers for the response, look forward to touching base and meeting you.
