A lot of great info there that you just wouldn't think of and a lot of which equally relates to tent camping.  Particularly liked the bit about the cold air flowing down hill. I know cold air sinks but you never really picture it flowing downhill and in through the open vents of your tent. Gives you something more to think about when pitching up for the night than my usual is it flat ish or will I wake in a puddle lol.
