That helmet's not going to help much plummeting down a cliff.

I've never been to Mohar - is there such a ledge? There'd be a Norwal-like impass (Frozen Planet reference) if you met someone coming the other way!

I've been on this ridge several times, there's no way these guys cycled it,maybe the cliff walk above but not this part, looks to me like this photo was staged,ie:right guys, snap, thanks very much, now someone help me remove the grip-fill from the wheels, this ridge is only about twenty feet across.i've layed on the edge with someone holding my feet, pure thrill, anyway it's a mock up for some sort of promotion

Apparently no more:

'Daredevil ledge' collapses into ocean

A LEDGE at the Cliffs of Moher that was the scene of "idiotic" stunts that were recorded and posted on the internet has collapsed into the sea.

A large section of a one-metre wide edge on which tourists, locals and even cyclists have been photographed plunged into the Atlantic Ocean 700ft below.

So it looks like the full story is that back in 2006 there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the guys pictured above and below cycling along the ledge.
Then in 2010 the ledge just fell into the sea.

I remember this... believe it was legendary mountain bikers Hans Rey and Steve Peat.  Great little video of their adventure on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II7ZFkDbjT8) complete with a rather awesome Flogging Molly soundtrack!  Skip to the 1 minute mark for Moher Madness, but its well worth watching the full video for some class riding including a descent of Croagh Patrick :)
