Channel 8 Hill Walking Network
« on: June 24, 2011 »

Folks are prompting the use of Channel 8 as an unofficial emergency channel while out walking.

Time to fire your Binatone on scan and stick it in your backpack. Link: Hill Walking Radio Network

(ps if you are ever in the hills and hear three clicks on Channel 6 it's me saying hello  ;D )

(pps: bit random this but http://www.vimeo.com/20370150 it's a film from the 1940s about new mountain rescue technology in Austria and Germany)
