This practical course will equip students with the skills to act in the event of emergency first aid situations. The sessions will include practical demonstrations, group work and audio-visual back-up.
The course will cover the following topics:
* Resuscitation
* Recovery Position
* Choking
* Heart Attack
* Severe Bleeding
* Burns
* Fractures
Students will be assessed by a practical examination and oral questioning and successful students will be awarded a St John Ambulance Public First Aid Certificate.
