After a few months looking for a kayak and about 200 changes of my mind i finally got a kayak before Christmas!!!
So i have been out a good few times on strangford lough along with my mate (we both got the same kayak) and enjoyed myself more than i thought i would. We have enrolled on a wee safety course starting in feb 2010 so its full steam ahead from then.

So if anyone is heading out for a paddle and fancies another 2 paddlers/beginners to join them let me know.

How much was that if you don't mind me asking? I'm after a sea kayak.
I'll be up for a few paddles - I have a Canadian.

i got it for £200 and a paddle from the guy for £15 (a really good 2-piece touring paddle). It was just before Christmas and he needed cash. so i think i got a bargin. My friend paid around the same as well from the same fella.
