First time I've seen the site. Nicely layed out.

You should get a Youtube Channel going, that would really grab peoples attention. Lots of users.

Good job, but I think you need to urgently change that hi-res picture on your home page background, as its taking forever to load.... think about the poor person on a mobile device too, but, well done.

Agreed about the loading time. Thats what deters most people from a webpage - long loading times.

I would echo what others have said re the hi res pic on the front page.

Will you have a 'Tools and equipment' page?

BTW you'll need to amend your signature with the correct site address  ;)

Good job Greyfox, looks well with lots of potential.  I'm particularly interested in the Wild Plants & Trees section as I'd really like to improve my knowledge, especially at identifying trees etc.

Folks cheers for the comments and suggestions. I intend to change the background photo in the home page as suggested as was rightly said people with mobile Internet will get pissed off with it. The section on plants and trees is still under construction as I'm not very computer literate so it takes me a while putting stuff up and I want that every plant on there I wil have used in the way I say it can be used so I will have discovered first hand of any issues which I can then pass on. A tools section is a good idea I like that stay posted I will have to get the others together and sort something out. We also have a blog www.bushcraftni.blogspot and we Are on twitter. The blog has more of the days out and events we have run.  If you have any more suggestions let me know!

Cheers

Good advice from yourself that prompted the change mate. I'm lucky I made the website on my iMac it basically does everything for me. The issues come when I start hosting it though I am through the worst just waiting for the web crawlers to do their work and get it up the search engine lists. Thanks for the offer I my well take you up on that at some time bud.

Cheers
