Really enjoyed the session today, Karma to Lenny for showing me how to lead a route for the first time.  :)

Excellent! :)

Did they change many routes? (it looked like they were working away at them yesterday)

Cheers.
It didn't look like there were any changed routes, unless they were tightening loose nubs yesterday or just having a general up-keep.

He spent alot of time around the right hand side corner of the middle overhang ( where that orange route that works its way up the corner is) and on the face of the overhang too.

I wasn't paying much attention as I was watching Megan.

Thats an odd one, I climbed that orange on Tuesday and it wasn't loose.

But good on you Yak for your first lead. Was it on the sloper wall at the far right?

There were no ropes up at that section when we there, so we couldn't climb it, but didn't notice any changes though, we'll have to take a closer look on Tuesday.

Yeah, the red route then the green at the corner on the sloper wall section, it's nervy enough for a first time but good to make a start. Lenny then showed us a multi-pitch on the blue route, cajones the size of boulders that dude.

How do you multi-pitch at the Ozone? am I being daft?

You'll have to get Lenny to show you, much too complicated for my Yak brain to explain. He was able to do it because it was quiet at the wall today so he could take up two routes, the rope always being tied into another pitch for safety.

Thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was great being empty, choice of all routes to climb etc. Gona try to go more often at weekends now. Really looking forward to getting some technique built up.

Looks like I missed a good day then!

I'll just have to settle with pullups and deadhangs on the doorframe.
