Well done Dave, loving the new shoes and harness..

Many thanks, delighted with them, couldn't wait to try them out today.

Way to go the Yakster  :)

Did your shoes feel like they made a difference? Say they did cos we kept saying it  ;)

Cheers, definitely made a big difference, without them i was taking all the weight on my arms which tired me out too quickly, with the shoes i can actually get a decent grip and put the weight on my legs. After todays session i feel grand, whereas usually my arms feel like two dead fish flopping about.  :)

And do you guys just boulder or have the harness and ropes and all?

Does the Ozone loan shoes? Often wondered

We normally do a bit of both, although our dynamic moves leave alot to be desired :) Its been pretty busy centre rope wise so Lenny has been bringing his for when we cant get a centre one

Im not sure about shoes they do harnesses

They dont do shoes.

Another good night and another route that has been bugging me completed. This one was a leading route that I could top rope np but just couldnt lead.
Lenny said tonight he was feeling the benefit of going regularly and asked was I to which I said no but i obviously am :)

Great to see Oisin down and watch Speciman-'the noise'-Yak destroy a couple of routes that had proved to much before :)

I do feel alot stronger. my recovery is improving aswell (Less aches the following day) Glad I finished the 5+ Grey route while holding out at the top (Not just tapping it).

So gonna do that 6a Green on saturday.

Wimbledon eat your heart out.

I enjoyed it too, must see if I can make it next week too.

Bought some climbing shoes today in Tiso, they had very little left, and I ended up with size 9's. 9 & 1/2's would have been ideal, I'll just have to see if the expand and stretch out a bit with use. Otherwise I might have to sell them on.

Good stuff Oisín, i've noticed the shoes make a real difference with grip, was there much climbing gear left in Tisos or do you know if there'll be more stock put out?
