Heading up into the Mournes tomorrow for a long awaited dander - must remember to pack the camera.
Oh any suggestions on a good camera that will take good shots but wont take up much room in my rucksack - Christmas is coming and I want to make a list
The Lumix LX5 is an awesome piece of kit. I have a Nikon D70s and a Nikon D80 with various Nikon Lenses and a Nikon Speedlight SB600 and I can honestly say that since I bought the LX5 I haven't taken them out of my Camera Case.
The Lumix LX5 with some decent software e.g. Paint shop Pro X3 and Adobe Light Room and you will be able to produce some very nice shots. Even without the software the images are excellent.
The LX5 also has an HD Video Camera built in which records crystal clear HD footage.
