Pete was on half term so we thought we'd take a crack at Bearnagh heading up through Hares Gap, over the summit and down the other side. It was a great day out but I totally forgot how steep the slopes of Bearnagh can be and Pete found the last part of the ascent really hard going. There was also lots of low cloud so we could only generally see 20-40 feet at any given time. Coming off the back towards Slieve Meelmore was also hard but we got there eventualy.
I took a crapload of really bad photos but I'm blaming al the thick mist and low cloud. I'll post more in the Flickr group.

The mist adds to the atmosphere of The photo! there's a few good one's in there, I like the self timer'd(?) one at the summit, I'd maybe crop out the sigg bottle thought its a bit distracting!
