Having spent a long time reading reviews in my search for a lightweight tent that I could use to backpack round Australia and New Zealand but that would also work in our hills I eventually decided on a Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2. It's not a brand that's very familiar to those of us on this side of the Atlantic, but it keeps winning award after award. So with a bit of wrangling I managed to get a 2-man (or 1-woman and her rucksack) tent for less than £200 delivered from America and it weighs in at a fantastic 1.2kg. Hopefully it's as good as I hope, will post some reviews once I get to put it through it's paces.

If you delete everything after the second occurence of "[/url]" then you should have only the picture showing, a la above.

By the way, the tent geeks on the forum like to see inside the tent also, what about a wee pick of the living/storage space?

Bit slow catching up with these posts, but that is a cracking looking tent, health to enjoy! I definitely like that shape of tent with a large pole forming the spine before branching off into two smaller poles at the front. Bit like the Vaude Hogan. As far as I know Ultralight Outdoor Gear stock Big Agnes kit in the UK, although I think you've grabbed a bit of a bargain to get that to your doorstep for £200! Hopefully get a chance to see it pitched sometime
