I'm looking to get back up to annalong wood in the next few weeks, and a few people seem up for it, so Ive started this thread to try and sort something. I put the idea to the girlfriend at lunch, she thought that because i was only up at the weekend it would have calmed my need for it, but its only spurred me on lol But, on the plus side, she didnt say no?? I'm sure I'll wear her down alright and she wouldn't worry so much about me getting murdered blair witch style in the woods lol. I'll keep u posted on any developments my end and if anybody has any thoughts or ideas/ dates in mind, let me know.

I'm up for this providing I'm not working , Dowser mentioned the 29th I'm working but I might be able to shift swap or take a sickie :) , I will sort something out when the date is chosen ,

Ps I'm not just after your sticks it's also your firelighting skills  ;D

Hey Scribble, don't be worrying about swapping shifts or sickies... I'll fit in with you guys.  Sort something out that suits and I'll just tag along  8)

If I can't make it out for a campover  I'd do my very best to at least pop up for a couple of hours and warm my feet at the campfire. I'm usually hanging round Newcastle most Sat and Sun evenings anyway.

I'm going to try and do the 29th, providing my woman isnt working. If I'm not upto scratch with the firelighting, then I'm going to have to explain myself to a disappointed scribble and then just stand there and look sheepish. I'll have to re-fill my Pyro-box too, because I emptied it at the weekend (LOTS and LOTS of wood shavings and cotton wool) It would be good if people brought their dogs, as I'm a friend to the animals lol The more the merrier as is always the case, but i especially want to meet everyone and have plenty of craic around the campfire.

I'm looking forward to this. I'm free anytime as I'm off uni until the 31st, then after that it'll just be weekends I'm free.

I'm 19, I think one of the youngest on the forum

Guy's, one thing that might stop me getting along on the 29th is the Caving Trip.  I'm on the reserve list for the caving and if I get the chance to go I wouldn't want to pass it up because an opportunity like that doesn't come along very often.

Other than that I'm good to go!!!

How old are u guys? lol

Sorry Guy's, I've just been given a place on the caving trip so I will not be joining you for this one.

The next time I'm out in the hills I'm planning to camp at Cock Mountain.  I'm guessing it will be around about the 12th February 2011.

Everybody welcome, as usual  8)
