Poundstretcher food
« on: September 12, 2011 »

While browsing around the Boucher Road Cotswolds on Saturday (as usual I couldn't afford anything!  :-[) I thought I'd try and see if the Poundstretcher a few doors down had any bargains.  I came across these iIndian meals for 49p per packet and rice for 69p a pack.  They could easily be heated up over a stove and I thought the ranges of other foods weren't bad for the price.

Well here's your chance to treat yourself in Cotswolds... Check out this months Photo Comp.  Don't be saying we never listen to our members  ;)

There are definitely some camping food bargains to be had in the likes of Pound Stretcher and B&M Bargains.  Here is one of my hillside favourites from B&M Bargains and costs about 99p.  Really easy to prepare in the frying pan, filling, and can be served with almost anything.

The Egg Fried Rice looks like it has potential.

Tried the rice today, it's not bad but a bit dry so it would be best mixed in with a curry or something like that.

Grace and I buy instant noodles out of Poundland. They come in their own cup/bowl thing and are just great. We love them, and at 3 for £1 who can argue. Breakfast at 33p, cant beat it.

I would advise them, you can use the cup afterwards for whatever you like.
