I did stop to take in the views, especially in the latter stages as I stumbled along looking 3 ft ahead... needed something to justify being out there for so long :)

There were a lot of fast boys at the top of the field this year. The winner, Paul Giblin, managed to do the course in half my time completely blowing the previous record away: 15.07 !!! He didn't even have the decency to hobble at the awards ceremony  ;D

Thats awesome.... Well done! Works really wrecked any training/adventure challenges recently, think I'll get out a bit more after your inspiring success... 95 miles.... Can't begin to think what that does to the body and mind!
